TUCKER……
Philip Robert Tucker, age 79, of Lower Burlington, Hants County, passed away Friday, February 3, 2017 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born on January 24, 1938 in Lower Burlington, he was the son of the late George and Bertha (Dodge) Tucker.
Phil was a retired painter and carpenter who loved the outdoors. He enjoyed cutting wood, snowmobiling and four wheeling with his son, grandsons and friends. He will be remembered for being a quiet, kind and gentle man who loved his family.
Surviving are his loving wife, Doreen (Macumber); daughters, Deborah (Peter) Hope, Windsor; Michele Tucker (Rob Lockau), Lower Burlington; son, Michael (Jana) Tucker, Hantsport; grandchildren, Joseph (Amy), Justin, Matthew and Brooke; brother, Ronald, Windsor; two nieces.
Predeceased by infant daughter, Susan Marie.
Visitation will be held 6-8 pm Monday, February 6, 2017 in the Lindsay Windsor Funeral Home (902-798-2232), 194 King Street, Box 2218 Windsor, B0N 2T0.
Funeral service will be held 1 pm Tuesday, February 7, 2017 in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Pauline Coffin officiating. Interment will be in the Centre Burlington Cemetery.
No flowers by request.
