1954-2017
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Peter Lloyd
Kierstead announces his passing, which occurred on Friday, December
22, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on May 28, 1954 in
Saint John, NB, he was a son of Lloyd and Evelyn (Trecartin)
(Kierstead) Bradley.
Peter worked as an arborist for 20 years and later worked for
Saint John Water for ten years. He loved to sail with his good friends
at the Martinon Yacht Club, and spent his winters at Poley
Mountain.
Peter is survived by his loving wife, Joanne (Shea)
Kierstead; Mother Evelyn (Trecartin) (Kierstead) Bradley; daughters
Elizabeth (Ryan Cochrane) and Emily (Greg Webster) Kierstead; brother
Paul (Pam) Kierstead; sister Darlene Loughery; grandchildren Eve,
Aiden, and Patrick, as well as many extended family
members.
Peter was predeceased by his father, Lloyd Kierstead, and his
step-father, Kenneth Bradley.
Arrangements are under the care of
Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint
John, NB (634-7424). In keeping with Peter’s
wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. For those who
wish, donations may be made to Bobby’s Hospice. Online
