Obituary for Peter Glenn Stafford
Peter Glenn Stafford of Red Deer, Alberta, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital with his family by his side at the age of 61 years. Born November 2, 1956 in Liverpool, Nova Scotia, he was a son of the late Arnold and Jean (Chemist) Stafford. He lived most of his life in Greenfield, Nova Scotia and the thing he was most proud of, after his family, was his tool box. He was a heavy truck mechanic by trade and took great pride in a job well done – a characteristic he passed on to his children and grandchildren. Peter is survived by his wife of 38 years, Virginia (Boland), son, Justin (Kelly) of Red Deer, daughter Stephanie (Corey) Tracy of Calgary and four grandchildren. Besides his parents, Peter was predeceased by his siblings Nancy and Robert, in infancy, and sister, Beverly. At Peter’s request there will be no funeral service.
