1961-2017
Peggy Jane LeBlanc – 56, of
Kentville, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at home. Born in
Kentville, she was a daughter of Jean (Walker) Herget, Kentville and
the late Perry Herget. Peggy was a loving wife, mother and
grandmother, full of humour and always putting others first. She had
been employed at Progeny Software, Wolfville as a project specialist
for several years. She was also secretary of the Kentville Lions Club
for many years and was a member of several genealogy organizations,
including the Kings Historical Society. She was also a member of the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Kentville. She is
survived by her husband, Thomas “Tom”; two sons,
Travis, Kentville; Alex, Wolfville; a sister, Lucinda Herget (Brian
Hendershot), Cambridge; a brother, Danny (Janet), Canning; three
grandchildren, Curtis, Gabriel and Alexander Jr.; special nephew, Josh
Balsor. Visitation and viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the
time of the celebration of life and time of reflection at 1:00 p.m.
Saturday, November 25, 2017 in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter
Day Saints, 440 Belcher Street, Kentville, Bishop Donald Smith
conducting. A social gathering will follow. Burial will take place at
a later date. Donations in memory may be made to the Kings Historical
Society, the Kentville Lions Club or the charity of your choice.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral
Home and Cremation Services,
Kentville.
