Paullette Gloria Dorothy Coughlan
1945-2017
“Heaven Will Never Welcome A Sweeter Mother”. It is with
sadness that the family of Paullette (Crouse) Coughlan (Half-Pint) of
New Maryland, NB announce her sudden passing on Tuesday, September 12,
2017 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital.
Paullette was born in Zealand, NB on September 3, 1945 to the late Roy
Crouse and Dorothy (Brewer) Estey. Paullette was an amazing mother,
grandmother and partner. She enjoyed spending time with her family
and having a positive outlook on life.
She is survived by her partner, William (Bill) Johnston; her two sons,
Mark Coughlan (Lisa), Zealand, NB and Timothy Coughlan (Audrey),
Burtts Corner, NB; a daughter, Vicki Lee Coughlan (Vito Burtt), Burtts
Corner, NB; five grandchildren, Christina Coughlan (Cody), Bradley
Coughlan (Mary), Jozie-Lee Coughlan (Chad), Emma-Lee Coughlan and
Kelsey Coughlan; two grandsons, Jacob and Kobe Cochrane; seven great
grandchildren, Averie, Piper, Isaac, Levi, Rowan, Oliver and Duncan.
Paullette also sadly leaves behind her five sisters, Maxine Finnie,
Fredericton, NB, Wanetta Brewer, British Columbia, Marjorie
Sommerville, Fredericton, NB, Ardith Munn, Fredericton, NB and Yvonne
Clarkson, Saint John, NB; one brother, Roy Crouse Jr. (Cora); a
brother-in-law, Rev. Arol Brewer; two sisters-in-law, Rhoda Crouse and
Rosalie Crouse; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by the father of her
children, John Coughlan; a granddaughter, Toni Paullette Wood; a
daughter-in-law, Michele Coughlan; a granddaughter-in-law, Rebecca
Coughlan; one sister, Judith Brewer; two brothers, Curtis Crouse and
Orville Crouse; five brothers-in-law, Irvine Finnie, Merlin Brewer,
Preston Munn, Winston Clarkson and Rollie Sommerville and by her
step-father, Lyman Estey.
Visiting hours will be held at Stone Ridge Pentecostal Church, 129
Upper Stone Ridge Road, Zealand, NB on Thursday evening from 7 to 9
pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 2
pm from the church with Rev. Terrance Brewer officiating. Interment
at Stone Ridge Community Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be sons, Mark and Tim Coughlan, grandchildren,
Bradley, Christina, Jozie, Emma and Kelsey, son-in-law, Vito Burtt and
nephew, Brian Brice.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Stone
Ridge Community Cemetery.
