Obituary of Paul Newhook, Scotchtown
Paul J. Newhook, 69, of Scotchtown, passed away Monday, December 11, 2017 at home.
Born in Newfoundland, he was a son of the late Hazel Spencer.
In earlier years, Paul served in the Canadian Armed Forces. He later became a self-employed carpenter until his retirement. Paul was an avid sports fan who loved following his number one team, the Detroit Red Wings. He also enjoyed cooking, dancing, singing and playing crib.
Surviving are his common-law wife, Jocelyn Fahey; sons, Shawnce, Bruneo and Dimitri; several nieces and nephews.
Besides his mother, Paul was predeceased by his stepfather, Leonard Decoste as well as brothers and sisters.
There will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 380 Smith St., New Waterford.
