December 30, 1919 – February 1, 2017
Peacefully with her daughter at her side at the Hawthorne Woods Care Community in Brampton. Beloved Mother of Margaret, Pearson (Dianne) and Kenneth (Rose). She leaves behind a loving sister Gilberte Saumure Pothier (the late Paul) and sister-in-law Louise Fortin Saumure (the late Siméon). Pre-deceased by her husband Austin, her daughter Frances Teasdale, her grandson Ryan Jenkins and her siblings Donat Saumure (Artilia), Berthe Hébert (Dolard), Siméon Saumure (Louise), Emilienne Piché (Léon), René Saumure (Hélène), Clément Saumure (Régine), Rosaire Saumure (Hermione) and Simone Lachance (Marcel). Pauline will be missed by her grandchildren Melanie Dixon (Tim), Jason Teasdale, Nevin Teasdale, Dale Jenkins (Katie), Jennifer Steele (Chris) and Jared Teasdale (Andrea), as well as 7 great-grandchildren, Zachary Dixon, Emilie Dixon, Gavin Steele, Austin Jenkins, Maximus Steele, Chloe Teasdale and Genevieve Jenkins. She also leaves behind 3 step grandchildren and 6 step great-grandchildren. Pauline will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Family and Friends will be received at J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Avenue, Georgetown, ON 905-877-3631 on Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow this summer at the Ste. Anne RC Cemetery, Rapides-des-Joachims, QC. In lieu of flowers contributions to the Alzheimer Society of Canada, Autism Canada or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
