It is with great sadness that the family of the late
Pauline Mary Lavers announce her passing on Wednesday, February 22,
2017 at the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders at the age
of 88 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her
children: Olive (Ron) Ayre, Bobby (Judy) Lavers, Lorna (Leo) Ayles,
Joe (Barb) Lavers, Cecil (Lillian) Lavers, Josephine and Laverne
Lavers; 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 3
great-great-grandchildren; as well as a large circle of nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her
husband Matthew Lavers, sons Derrick Kennedy and Howard Lavers,
great-grandson Stephen Lavers, granddaughter Delphine, parents Joseph
and Josephine Kennedy, 2 sisters, 7 brothers and special nephew Wayne
Fitzpatrick. Friends may visit St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic
Church, Port Saunders on Friday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9
p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, February
25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Raj officiating. Interment to follow
at the Interfaith Cemetery, Sandy Cove. As expressions of sympathy
donations to a charity of one’s choice or to the family
(donations to the family will be directed to a charity of their
choice. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral
Home, Port au Choix. The family guest book may be signed by visiting
