Pauline Marie Delia Carpenter – October 16th, 2017

October 16th, 2017
CARPENTER, Pauline Marie Delia
Pauline Delia Carpenter [nee Charlebois] was born in Montreal on April 28, 1925 and left Calgary for heaven on Monday, October 16, 2017. She grew up in Montreal and married Paul Carpenter in 1944.
On a visit to Edmonton for her daughter Lucy’s wedding, she gave her life to Jesus and along with her husband entered into an adventure that saw them live in Melfort & Eston, SK as well as Calgary, AB.
Mrs. C. as she was known, was a friend and confidante to many over the years and enjoyed life to the fullest. She was a homemaker, was involved with her church family, volunteered in the kitchen at Eston College, loved water fights at camp and teasing everyone was a given.
Pauline will be lovingly remembered by son, Marcel; daughters, Lucy & Susan [Patrick]; sister, Theresa; grandchildren, Heidi [Chauncey], Richard [Dawn], Matthew, Tina Erica and Martine; and great grandchildren, Liam & Jonah. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul; parents, Lorne & Beatrice; sister, Yvonne; son in law, Wayne and grandson, Jeff. We will miss that mischievous smile, the wicked gleam in her eye and a contagious sense of humor that barely concealed a heart of gold.
