PAUL HRYSIO
Peacefully on September 13, 2017, Paul passed away at Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg at the age of 90 years.
Paul is survived by his nephew James (Colleen); nieces Linda (Bill) Hibbard and Penny (Brian) Barnes and many other relatives.
He was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth; parents Mary and Michael; brother Peter; sisters Anne and Nora and special friend Mary.
Paul was born on the family farm in Springfield, Manitoba. He always had a deep love and appreciation of the land. He spent time in the Air Force in the 50’s. Later he moved to the United States where he worked in the electronics industry. Paul then returned to Winnipeg and joined Via Rail as a Carman.
Paul loved his garden and cooking. In his spare time he enjoyed working on electronics, reading Popular Mechanics and listening to the radio. He also travelled to various parts of the country with Mary.
The family would like to thank the staff at Middlechurch Home for their care and compassion.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, September 19 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
