Obituary of Paulene Doerr
Passed away at The Village at University Gates on Sunday September 24, 2017 at the age of 89 years. Paulene was the loving wife of the late Robert Herbert Doerr.
Survived by her children, Pamela Putman (Robert) of Lindsay, Susan Eby (John) of Waterloo, Michael Doerr (Wendy) of Waterloo and Janet Doerr also of Waterloo. Loving grandmother of Andrew (Gina), Aaron (Cathy), Jennifer (John), Kathryn (Jay), Natalie and Christopher. Great grandmother of Alexandra, Charlotte, Seth, Cali, Hailey and Kaitlyn. Paulene will also be remembered by her brother Bill Gatenby of Kitchener. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother Bob Gatenby and wife Janet and sister-in-law Donna.
Paulene was a long-time member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Kitchener and a dedicated employee and volunteer for many years at Kidsability Waterloo.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Paulene with her family during memorial visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Friday September 29 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. A complete memorial service will follow in the chapel at 1: 30 p.m. with Pastor Roland Syens officiating. Reception to follow in the Fireside Room of the funeral home.
