Paul Joseph Chanasyk passed away on December 9, 2017 in Vegreville at the age of 91 years.
He will be remembered by his daughter Darlene (Larry) Jackson; sister Lena Roscoe; sisters in-law Katie Chanasyk and Bernice Chanasyk; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his wife Mary Chanasyk (nee Wysocki); parents Joseph and Tillie; sisters Rosie (John) Fedechko, Annie (Peter) Kiziak, Katie (Dan) Misick, Sophie (Mike) Kitt, Mildred (Bill) Czajkowski and Olga (John) Zaharko; brothers Peter (Nancy), Mike, Bill and Steve; and brother in-law John Roscoe.
Divine Liturgy and Funeral Service will be held at the Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Church, Derwent on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Viewing will be one hour prior to service. Interment will follow service at Ascension Cemetery.
Memorial Donations may be made to charity of the donor’s choice.
