In Loving Memory
Hobbs, Paul, Richard, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2017, at the age of 75, at Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga.
He leaves his wife of 50 years, Laura (LeGallais) Hobbs; his son Ryan Hobbs (Kathy), his daughter Amy Shillington (Scott); and his four grandchildren Emily, Jamieson, Ethan, and Danielle; brother of William Hobbs (Gail) and son to the late William and Eva Hobbs.
Paul fought cancer for over a decade remaining strong and always enjoyed getting the family together at every opportunity. He took fashion cues from no one. His signature every day look was all his: a beige flannel jacket, loose fitting jogging pants, and his staple baseball cap. A creature of habit; enjoying cheese and onion sandwiches while watching his favourite baseball game whenever he could.
A special thank you to the Oncology and palliative care people who were so helpful and caring throughout the cancer journey.
The funeral service will be at Glen Oaks Funeral Home and Cemetery (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, Ontario) on Saturday, November 18, 2017, at 11:00 AM. A reception will follow.
