Paul Geneau
1939-2017
Paul Joseph Geneau passed away at the age of 77 at his home
surrounded by his loving wife and his children on May 1,
2017. He leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Nancy
(Saunders) Geneau.
He is also survived by six of his children, Cyr (Pat) Geneau
of Flin Flon, Manitoba, Myra (Rick) Bowmaster of Arthurette, NB, Wanda
(Leigh) Green of Moncton, NB, Lori Steeves of Plaster Rock, NB, Tammy
Geneau of Fredericton, NB, Misti (Jeremy) St-Amand of Plaster Rock,
NB, 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He is also
survived by siblings Madeline Rossignol, Ida Laflamme, Germaine
Leclerc, Margaret Geneau, Leo Geneau and Anthony
Geneau.
He is predeceased by his beloved son Jeff Geneau, his
siblings Eva Cote, Elizabeth Hawke, Rita Michaud, Raymond Geneau,
Gilbert Geneau, Camille Geneau, Robert Geneau, Gaston Geneau and
Firmin Geneau.
Paul was born in 1939 to his parents, the late Anthony and
Lucy Geneau. He was born and raised in Blue Bell,
NB. He worked all his life as a truck driver until his
retirement. He was a very dedicated member of the Blue Bell
Assumption Church since childhood. He had a strong faith and
was very active in his congregation. Paul was dearly loved
by his family, friends, community and anyone who had the pleasure of
meeting him. He had a special personality that impacted
everyone he came in contact with. He will be greatly missed
and always remembered.
Resting at O’Regan’s Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd.,
Grand Falls with visiting hours on Wednesday, May 3rd from 4 to 8
p.m.
His funeral service will be held Thursday, May 4th at 2 p.m.
from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Blue Bell with Father
Gilbert Doddatto officiating, assisted by Father Curtis Sappier,
Deacon Paul Paradis and Pastor D.R. McKillop.
