Retired. The family and
friends of Paul Cameron O’Leary, age 76, regret to announce
his passing on November 7, 2017 at St.
Martha’sRegional
Hospital in Antigonish after
battling numerous health
issues.
Paul proudly served twenty-six years in
the Royal Canadian Navy on many naval ships and bases. He was
officially released from his naval duties on November 7, 1986 and
released from his biggest battle on November 7, 2017. After his
retirement Paul
worked at the Royal Canadian Legion as bar
steward, served as Branch President and volunteered much of his time
on many
committees.
He is survived by his wife of
fifty-four years,
Judy; children: Steve (Ann),
Antigonish;
Keitha,
Antigonish;
Craig (Sarah), North
Bay, Ont.; grandchildren: Alyssa, Jared, Bailey;
great grandchildren,
Jeslyn and Jase;
brother Michael
(Anna),
Clydesdale.
He was predeceased by his parents, Senator Clem
O’Leary and Evelyn
O’Leary.
The family would like to thank all the nursing staff
and doctors for their kindness and dedication to
Paul.
There will be no visitation by request. A graveside
service will be held at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Lochaber on
Friday at 2:00pm.
