LUCIER, Patricia Mary
Passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Lanark Heights, Kitchener, at age 93.
Loved mother of Marvin (Dawn). Loving grandmother of Brendan (Zoe), Cathy (David), Robin (James McDonald) and Erin and cherished great-grandmother of Kara, Casandra and Chloe. Dear sister of Andrew Lucier (Marjorie dec.).
Patricia was born in Ford City (near Windsor) on March 21, 1923 and was raised in Essex, Ontario. Later, she moved to Toronto where she became a Registered Nurse specializing in Neo-Natal Care. In her later years, she operated a Day Care in the west end of Toronto. In 1981 she moved to Waterloo to be closer to her son and grandchildren. She then moved into Lanark Heights Long Term Care Facility in May of 2007.
Patricia loved to dance and to entertain others in song and playing the Harmonica. Her favourite song was “You are My Sunshine”.
Predeceased by her parents, Noah and Anna Lucier, a brother David and a niece Dorothy.
A family gathering to honour Patricia will be held in the spring of 2017 in Chilliwack, B.C.
