Obituary for Patricia Staniek
We regret to announce the death of Patricia Staniek on October 25, 2017 at Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 74 years. Patricia was a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force as well as the Army. She was involved with the Kapuskasing Figure Skating Club for many years and enjoyed volunteering for various organizations and events. In her spare time, she enjoyed weaving, quilting, knitting and crocheting.
She will be greatly missed by her husband, Kurt; one son, Shane of Toronto; her siblings: Larry Leblanc of Toronto, and Dorothy Townson spouse of Mark Dixon of Alberta; two sisters-in-law: Ruth Leblanc of Toronto and Elsie Turcozc of Alberta; one nephew and one niece: Jason Townson and Sherri-Lynn Leblanc; as well as her dear friend, Fern Campbell of Ottawa. She was predeceased by her parents: Edouard and Mabel Leblanc; one brother: David Leblanc; one brother-in-law, Bob Townson; and one niece: Kennedy Leblanc. At her request, there will be no visitation, nor service. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Animal Rescue of Kapuskasing or the House of Kin would be greatly appreciated. ©
