It is with great sadness that we
announce the passing of Patricia Campbell (Johnson)
George, wife of the late Charles George, on Friday,
December 30, 2016. Born March 17, 1933, Sackville NB, Pat
was the daughter of the late John and Emma Johnson.
Throughout her life, Pat was actively
involved in the community. She was a member of the Sackville Town
Council, Tantramar Liberal Association, IODE, curling and golf clubs
as well as other organizations. Pat looked forward to spending her
summers with her family at the cottage in Cape
Tormentine.
She is survived by her daughters
Margaret (Jean), Catherine (Rae), Jennifer (Gary); grandchildren,
Julia, Charles, Stephen, Jeremy, Ben and Ryan; brother, Robert, of
Niagara Falls; sisters, Doreen and Pauline; sister-in-law Patricia
Johnson; nieces and nephews as well as other family and special
friends.
She was predeceased by her husband,
Charles; brothers John, Carman, Jim, and sister Mary.
Arrangements have been entrusted to
Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St.
Sackville NB (506-364-1300). Visitation will be held on Tuesday,
January 3, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held at
St. Ann’s Anglican Church, 65 British Settlement Road,
Westcock, NB on Wednesday at 1 pm with reception to follow in the
church hall.
Memorial donations may be made to
Alzheimer’s Society or the charity of
choice.
