Patricia Ann Hughes – 1938-2017

Patricia Ann Hughes
1938-2017
Patricia Hughes of Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home passed
away on Wednesday, September 6, 2017. Born in Rusagonis, NB., she was
the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (O’Leary)
Noble. She attended St. Andrew’s Anglican Church and was a
member of the choir.
Pat dedicated her life to helping others, she volunteered in
various capacities from helping out neighbors to volunteering at
Forest Glen School, on several Church committees and as a Brownie
Leader “Snowy Owl”. Pat had a passion for
cooking and she enjoyed travelling especially on bus trips to
Nashville. She enjoyed children and had a special place in
her heart for her three grandchildren. She made many lifelong friends
that she cherished and especially enjoyed getting together with her
“neighborhood sisters” for a little Cold Duck and
great laughs. If everyone in the world could be half as
giving as Pat it would be a great place.
She will be dearly missed by her loving husband, Clyde; son,
John of Petitcodiac; daughter, Susan McAdam (Paul) of Riverview;
grandchildren, Justin, Jenna and Jake; sisters, Connie Dasset, Dawn
Jack, Joanne Gladwish, and sister in-law Jackie MacPherson
all of Fredericton; as well as several nieces and
nephews.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends
at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine
Rd., Riverview (869-2007) on Saturday, September 9, 2017 from 10:00
– 11:00am with the funeral service taking place at 11:00am.
The Venerable Brent Ham will be officiating. Donations can be made to
Alzheimer’s Society. Condolences may be expressed at www.cobbsfuneralhome.ca
