Obituary for Pamela Hickey
Pamela Dawn Hickey
Nov 6, 1963 – July 20, 2017
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, sister, aunt, great aunt Pam. After a courageous battle with Cancer, she died peacefully with family by her side.
Left to cherish her memories are her children Jillian, Alysha and Sam. Siblings Sharon (bob) Sargent, Walter (Linda) Hickey, Donna (terry) Knight, Bev (Dave) Howell, Patrick (Lisa) Hickey, and half- sister Elle York.
She also leaves many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Pam grew up in Elmwood, attending Kent Road School, Elmwood high school, and later Red River College. She had many friends growing up which she remained friends with over the years
She had various career paths but her passion was photography. As she raised her
Children she provided daycare to many children in the area who remembered her
Fondly.
In 1992, she met Ray residing In West St Paul where they had 3 beautiful, talented children, Jillian, Alysha and Sam who are the light of her life.
She made many good friends on Minnehaha, hosting many neighbourhood events which always involved her children.
Pam had a great love for animals, always having cats, dogs, birds and chinchillas (ashes) in the house.
A special thanks to Ray for all his support and help for Pam, their children, and our family.
We will miss you mom with all of our hearts and we will cherish our memories forever.
The family thanks HSC and cancer care.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to cancer care or humane society.
