Orland Reid

Orland Reid September 13, 1948 – December 17, 2016

The family of Orland Frederick Reid age 68 are sadden to announce his passing on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre.
Born in Sackville, New Brunswick, raised in Port Elgin, NB and later moved to Amherst, Nova Scotia where he resided until he passed.
Orland is survived by his special friend, Audrey of Amherst, NS, his sister, Marilyn (Roy) Taber of Sackville, NB, four nieces, Tina Taber and Tanya Snowdon, both of Sackville, NB, Angie (Jim) Atkins of Moncton, NB, and Christine Wilson of St. John’s, NFLD and one nephew, Donnie Wilson of Moncton, NB. Orland is also survived by his great nieces Ashley and Shyanne Taber, Taylor and Tonya Wilson, Victoria and Haley Atkins and great nephew, Alan Snowdon as well as several great great nieces and nephews.
Orland was predeceased by his wife, Theresa Osmond in 2007 and parents John and Olive (Chatfield) Wilson.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Campbell’s Funeral Home, Amherst (902-667-9906) and there will be no visitation or funeral service at Orland’s wishes.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Lung Association, or Canadian Cancer Society.
