Death Notice
Peacefully, with his family by his side on Thursday, November 23, 2017, Oliver Medeiros passed away at the age of 81. Beloved husband of the late Maria Jose. Loving father of Berta (Cory) and Irene (David). Cherished grandfather of Alina and Evan, and stepgrandfather and great-grandfather. Dear brother of Irene (the late Manuel) and Angelina (Jose Augusto) and brother-in-law of Alice and Georgina. Remembered by extended family in Canada, Azores, Portugal, Bermuda and USA. Predeceased by his brothers Ivo and Gilbert. Family and friends will be received at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Friday, November 24, 2017, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment in Resurrection Cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Bluewater Health Palliative Care (cheques only at the funeral home please).
Visitation
Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home on Friday, November 24, 2017, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Service
A funeral service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Saturday, November 25, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. Entombment in Resurrection Cemetery.
