Stormin Norman Robert Whillans, born October 17, 1937 at High River, Alberta, after fighting a good fight with his health, snuck out of his body, jumped on a horse and rode home to heaven on July 17, 2017 at the age of 79 years. If you wish to pay your respects to Norm, his ashes will be laid to rest across the Rocky Mountains, west of Nanton, AB. Directions: Cowboy Trail (Hwy 22) to Hwy 532, past Indian Graves Campground, until the mountain range begins. There will be a cross on top… of the mountain nicknamed “The Hump”. In front of the cross, will be a buried bottle of scotch that Norm wanted to share. So please, have a drink in his honour and place it back for the next friend. You may also help the family upkeep the memorial by tying a piece of leather strap to the cross. Where life ends, life begins.
