Norman Peter Deveau
1942-2017
It is with sad hearts that we announce that heaven has gained another
angel. Norman Peter Deveau, beloved husband of Marie (MacVicar) Deveau
of Blacks Harbour NB. In addition to Marie he is survived by his
daughters: Denise (Dale) and Norma (Richard), his grandchildren:
Jessica, Jeremy, Katlyn, Eddie, Jordan, Jake and Shania, great
grandchildren; Rylee, Khylee, Bryson and William, his brother: Ormand
(Mary) his sister Julia as well as several nieces, nephews and
cousins. He was predeceased by his parents and son Billy.
Prior to retirement, Norman was a truck driver at Connor’s Bros in
Blacks Harbour and as well Blacks Harbour Transfer driving to Saint
John daily picking up supplies that helped his community grow and
meeting lots of people on his way. He had a smile that was contagious
and would lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Since his
retirement Norman enjoyed hanging out at the pool with his kids and
grandkids and looked forward to Labour Day Weekend when all his family
from near and far would be together as well as getting out hunting.
Norman will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26
Portage Street, St. George NB. In keeping with Norman’s wishes, there
will be no visiting. A graveside service will be held at the Pennfield
Rural Cemetery on Thursday at 2 pm. In Norman’s memory, donations to
the Charlotte County Cancer Society or a charity of the donors choice
would be appreciated by the family. Online donations and condolences
