Norma McIntyre

Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, at Seven Oaks Long Term Care in Scarborough on July 3rd, 2017, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Peter, loving mother to Lynne Liberty (Derreck) and Janice Benson (Michael); cherished grandmother to Brian, Jennifer and Kendrick. Norma was a long-time resident of Burlington who lived and traveled widely with Peter. In every location that they lived, she was able to establish treasured friendships and contribute to the betterment of the community. Throughout her life she committed generously to the parish community at St. Matthew’s on-the-Plains Anglican Church.
A private family interment will take place at a later date. Special thanks to the staff at Seven Oaks for their understanding care. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations in Norma’s memory to the Alzheimer Society of Canada, or a charity of your choice, would be sincerely appreciated.
