After graduating, he joined the Military, where he was a cook. Once he left the Military, he became a mechanic and after retirement, he began driving the school bus part-time. Nick spent the majority of his life living in Wynyard, SK where he and Rose enjoyed living on their acreage. He was always fixing things in the garage and taking care of the yard. Nick was especially proud of his Ford tractor. Nick was predeceased by his son, Randy; parents, Peter and Ann; brothers, Mike (Sophie) and Peter (Olga); sisters Katie (Alex) and Mary (Walter); and brothers-in-law Ben, Kaz, Harold and Mike. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Rose; sons Earl (Becky) and Gerry (Lorna); grandchildren Jeff, Kristy (Trevor), Korey (Kim) and Brandi (Josh); great- grandchildren Kaylee, Chase, Cambrie, Grady and Harper; sisters-in-law Jean, Olga, Allene and Teena; and many nieces and nephews. In keeping with Nick’s wishes, a family graveside service will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Nick’s name may be made to The Canadian Diabetes Association, 917A Albert St, Regina, SK S4R 2P6.
