1935 – 2017
On December 18, 2017 Mr. Nestor Michael Knysh of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, passed away peacefully at the age of 82.
He is remembered by his loving children: Brian (Brenda), Debbie, Cheryl (Greg), Cindy (John), Randal (Brenda) and Karen (Colin); 19 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; step-brother Norman and step-sister Josephine; as well as numerous relatives and many good friends.
Nestor was predeceased by his loving wife Shirley, grandson David, sisters Mary Starko, Verna Rosenthal, step-brother Albert and step-sister Julie.
There will be a Prayer Service held Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home, 16204 Fort Road, Edmonton, AB. (Access via 153 Avenue) Preceding the service there will be a viewing at 5:00 p.m. There will be a private family interment at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Nestor’s memory may be made to CHAMPS (War Amps of Canada) or the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation.
