Piercey, Nelson; Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday May 30th Nelson Piercey of Heart’s Content age 78 years. Predeceased by loving wife Dorothy (St. George), father Bertram, mother Caroline (Sooley) sisters Marion Hindy and Daphne Synyard, brothers and sisters in law Winston (Shirley) and Gordon (Ruby) son in law Bruce Critch . Leaving to mourn 7 children Sandra, Sheila, Susan (Jim), Karen (Hubert) Lorne, Sheldon (Myra), Roxanne (Fulton). 16 grandchildren Gary, Amanda, Melissa, Felicia, Andrew, Jennifer, Jason, Christopher, Crystal, Toni-Lynn, Taylor, Ashley, Meaghan, Caden, Madison and Logan. 9 great grandchildren Paige, Kaily, Kyla, Justine, Jayden, Alix, Jenelle, Micaela, Skyler and Colton. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Resting at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Heart’s Content. Visiting hours Wednesday 3:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Thursday 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday June 2nd at 2:30 p.m. from St. Mary’s Anglican Church with interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery Heart’s Content.
