Nancy Ann Rose – 1955 – 2017

Obituary of Nancy Rose
Nancy passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017, finally released from the grip of dementia which had plagued her in recent years.
Born in Detroit on November 30, 1955, Nancy worked in the insurance industry: Blue Cross/Blue Shield as well as Mutual Life and Equitable Life in Canada.
She is survived by her loving husband Larry Rose and their son Matthew (Mollie) of London. Affectionately missed by her twin sister Janice (Daniel) Gaitens, grandchildren Sophie and Benjamin, and father-in-law H. J. (Jim) Rose.
Predeceased by her parents Richard and Rita (nee Leib) Bischoff, sister Donna Gron, son Timothy Rose, and mother-in-law Olive Rose (nee Carswell).
Nancy was a life-long Weight Watcher and a very avid walker. She cherished her trips in March to the condo in Florida as well as Michigan State football games in the fall.
A special thanks to Dr. Michael Casey and all the caring staff in the Pine Woods House at Trinity Village Care Centre.
Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Monday, September 4, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, September 5, 2017. (The time of the funeral service will be published in Tuesday’s edition of the Waterloo Region Record or may be obtained at www.erbgood.com). Following the service, a reception will be held in the funeral home’s Fireside Room. Interment will be made at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Timothy Rose Memorial Foundation or the Alzheimer Society of Ontario by contacting the funeral home at www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445.
