Obituary of Nancy Jacques
Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Humber River Hospital. Born June 3rd, 1935, Sarnia, ON to the late W.J. and Kathleen Miller, dear sister of the late Jean Steadman and Ruth Fraser.
Beloved wife of Rev. Douglas Jacques for 63 years. They met while he was teaching school in Sarnia. Loving mother of William Andrew, David Edwin and his wife Lisa, Robert Thomas and Mollie-Jean Jacques. Doting grandmother of William Andrew, Chloe Catherine, Ryan Matthew and Laura Ann.
Nancy worked for many years as a valued employee in the offices of construction companies and investment firms. She also worked hard at finding opportunities for her family to learn and to grow in the communities where we lived. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 4, 2017 from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. at St. Matthew the Apostle, Oriole Anglican Church (80 George Henry Blvd.). A Memorial Service will follow at 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind.
