Obituary

Adams – Mrs. Nancy Annie (Denys) Adams, beloved wife of Lawrence L. Adams, of Duchess, AB passed away in Brooks on March 17th, 2017 at the age of 86 years.
Born at Chelan, Saskatchewan, she attended business college in Calgary before working there for several years. Upon her marriage in 1953, she joined her husband farming in the Duchess area and raising her family. She then took a job at the nursing home in Brooks, making many friends. She always had a beautiful yard and garden which she enjoyed sharing with others. She was a faithful Christian, never hesitating to Jesus’ love, and her many kindnesses will never be forgotten.
Nancy was predeceased by her parents Wassil (Bill) and Catherina Denys, her brothers George and Raymond, and her sisters Ann Sinton and Sandy. She is also survived by her loving children: sons Jack, Jerry and his wife Ronnie, Tom and his wife Donna, and daughter Susan and her husband, Bob Hamblen; 6 grandchildren: Mitchell, Dusty, Jim, Kevin, Kyle and Nikki, and 6 great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be Friday, March 24 at 2 pm at Thom’s Funeral Home in Duchess, AB.
