Nancy Ann Duguay
1963-2017
It is with great sadness that we
announce the passing of Nancy Ann Duguay,
age 54, of Port Elgin. Nancy passed away peacefully, Monday
June 12, 2017, surrounded by her family, at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont
Hospital, Moncton after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Born in Shemogue, NB, she was a daughter
of Jeanne (Vautour) Duguay, and the late William
Duguay.
Nancy loved the outdoors, clamming at
the beach, and spending time in the garden.
In addition to her mother Jeanne of Port
Elgin, she will be dearly missed by her daughter Billie-Jean, Port
Elgin; siblings Maurice Vautour, Port Elgin, William Duguay
(Marie-Mai), Shemogue, Larry Duguay, Port Elgin; several nieces and
nephews.
She is predeceased by her brother Bernie
Duguay and sister Gloria Gallant.
Arrangements have been entrusted to
Jones Funeral Home where cremation has
taken place. Visiting hours will take place at the Jones
Remembrance Family Centre, Port Elgin, on Saturday, June 17, 2017 from
9 am until 11 am, followed immediately by a celebration of Nancy’s
life at 11 am, Father Charles Broderick officiating. Burial
will follow in the St. Clement’s Roman Catholic Church Parish
Cemetery.
