Obituary of Murray Gerrie
At Huronlea, Brussels on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, Murray Gerrie of Wingham in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Frances (Merkley) Gerrie of Wingham. Cherished father of Pam & Dave Tiffin and Brad & Rachelle Gerrie all of Wingham. Murray will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Brittany Tiffin & Jesse, Greg Tiffin, Brigitte & Justin Wagner, Alex Gerrie and Connor Gerrie. Dear brother of Donna Moores of Bowmanville and Penny Gerrie of Toronto. Brother-in-law of Terry & Linda Merkley of Wingham, John & Betty Merkley of Oakville and Barbara Merkley of Guelph. Predeceased by his parents Harry & Ethel (Bell) Gerrie, brothers Lionel Gerrie, Gerald & Connie Gerrie, sister Marion McCallum and brothers-in-law Trevor Moores and Raymond Merkley.
Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Friday, from 6:00-9:00 pm. Memorial services will be held at the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 11:00 am. Reverend Richard D. Hall officiating. Final resting place, Wingham Cemetery.
Memorial donations to Alzheimers Society of Huron County would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
