HASKINS – Dalores
We are saddened to announce the death of Dalores age 92, at the North Bay Regional Health Center on Tuesday, April 25th, 2017. Predeceased by her husband Ken Haskins, her brother, Alvin, and by Arthur Henley. The beloved mother of Wayne (Jane), of Scarborough. Steve of Hinton, Alberta, and Shelly Sutherland (Scott), of North Bay, Dalores was the doting Nana to Crispin, Justin, David and Andrew, and great grandmother to Zac, Jaime and Ella. Dalores was the daughter of Steve and Hazel Guitar, and grew up in and around North Bay.
She had a long career with Dominion Stores, loved to travel, and was delighted to be able to do so in her middle age. She will be particularly missed by Karen Ronald, her sisters in law Eleanor Davis and Sheila Haskins, and her many other friends and relatives.
Many thanks to her friends at Empire Living, her doctor, Elena Kolb, and the nurses at North Bay Hospital. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Thursday afternoon and evening from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9pm. Funeral services to be held in the funeral home chapel at 10:30am, Friday April 28th. Cremation to follow with interment of ashes in the family plot, Terrace Lawn Cemetery. If desired donations to Trinity United Church will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
