Obituary for Muriel Chatfield Jones
Passed peacefully away on December 17 at the age of 101, Muriel Chatfield Adams Jones. Predeceased by her parents Henry and Mary Ann Adams, and her siblings; Ross, Lydia, and Vira. Leaving with fond memories her niece Ann Casey, nephews David Adams (Barbara) and Grenfell (Carol), as well as her dear cousin Yvonne Cluett, her husband Wilf, and their son Peter (Sonia). She will be missed by her circle of family and friends, and the caring staff of the Perley Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre, where she spent her later years. Friends are invited to visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue (at Richmond Road) on Tuesday, December 19, from 7pm to 9pm, and on Wednesday, December 20, from 11am to 1 pm immediately followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel. Donations in her memory may be made to the Woodroffe United Church or the Wounded Warriors Canada.
