Peacefully surrounded by the love of her family, at the Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce in Owen Sound, on Saturday evening, April 8th, 2017. Betty Luella Lee (nee Lembke) of Owen Sound, at the age of 85 years. Dearly loved wife of Christopher “Chris” Lee for 65 years. Loving mother of Laura Mann, of Guelph and John Lee and his wife, Susan, of Fonthill. Very proud grandmother of Jeffery (Amanda), Nicholas (Jessica), Michael, Heather and great-grandmother of Louella. Predeceased by her parents, William and Annie Lembke; her son, Andrew Lee; her siblings, Dorothy, Gladys, Rhoda, Carl and Vera.
Friends may call at the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Wednesday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service for Betty Lee will be held at the Lutheran Church of Our Saviour, 1049 – 4th Avenue West. Owen Sound, on Thursday, April 13th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Vicar Chris Krejlgaard officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce, the Lutheran Church of Our Saviour or the Shriners Children Hospital as an expression of sympathy.
