QUON, Yee Hong Yee Hong Quon passed away peacefully after a short illness at the Peter Lougheed Centre on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the age of 84 years. He was born on June 30, 1932 in Canton, China. Yee married his beloved wife, Frieda in Hong Kong and immigrated to Canada in 1961. Together they successfully ran several restaurants including the Shamrock Café, and owned the Orchid Inn on Macleod Trail in Calgary. Yee was kind, generous, and loving to all who knew him. He will be warmly remembered for his spirit, strong work ethic, and his sense of humour. Yee is survived by his wife of 56 years, Frieda; children Wanda…
