Ronald Andrew Malach, 69, of Edmonton, Alberta passed away Friday, June 14, 2017 at the Grey Nun’s Hospital. Ron was born on November 6, 1947 in Melville, Saskatchewan to Teresa and Vince Malach. He married his wife Joanne Platana on September 19, 1997. Ron began his career in the insurance industry over 40 years ago, working with Allstate before opening a private brokerage, South Edmonton Insurance, with his business partner. As co-owner and operator Ron was able to split his time between his rewarding professional life and rich personal life.
