Lou Hoover Lou passed away peacefully at his Vernon home of 34 years. Born of love as Ludwig Hocevar in 1925 in Otthon, Saskatchewan; on January 18, 2017 he disappeared into the love of his family who had all been there to help him through a brief illness. He grew up in Bredenbury, Saskatchewan and was respected as a kind, gentle and dignified young man who never had a bad word to say about anyone. He had a dry wit that he shared with those closest to him. He loved electronics, photography, ham radio (VE5HL) and played a good game of poker.
