Forrest Milton Craig of Owen Sound passed away surrounded by the love of his family at Sunny Brooke Hospital, Toronto on Saturday, April 15th, 2017 in his 91st year. Loving husband of Rose Craig (nee Beaton), the late Shirley Craig (nee McGarvey) 1968 and the late Janet Craig (nee Smith) 2001. Loving father of Carl and his wife Wanda of Mission, B.C., Gordon and his late wife Susan of Port Elgin, Harvey and his fiancé Dolores Cherkewick of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta and Heather Irvine and her partner Russ Hornseth of Williamsford. Lovingly remembered by 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of William Craig and his wife Carol of Clavering. Daughter-in-law Monique Craig of Bobcaygeon. Brother-in-law of Shirley Craig and Eunice Craig both of Owen Sound. Predeceased by his parents Laura and Bursche Craig, his son Barry and his brothers John and Earl.
Friends may call at the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Wednesday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service for Forrest Craig will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel, on Thursday, April 20th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Bayview Cemetery, Wiarton. Odd Fellows Lodge Spirit Rock #312, Wiarton will hold a Memorial Service at the Funeral Home on Wednesday evening at 6:45 p.m. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce or the charity of your choice as an expression of sympathy.
