Moon, David Gilbert – David was a dedicated employee for the past 43 years with the Belleville Y.M.C.A. Peacefully passed away at Q.H.C.- Belleville General Hospital on Thursday, January 5th, 2017 in his 63rd year. Son of the late Herbert and Helen Moon. Dear brother of Bob (Karen) Moon of Ottawa, Cathy (Al) Colden of Point Anne, Carol ( the late Craig) Soule of Brantford, Judy (Jeff) Watkins of Belleville, Randy Moon of Ottawa, Linda (Jerry) French , Lori (Jim) Mainse , Larry (Jennifer) Moon, Lisa (Neil) Spencer all of Belleville. Predeceased by brother Doug Moon. Lovingly remembered by all of his nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call at the Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel, 30 Moira Street West Belleville (613-968-2273) on Thursday, January 12th, 2017 for a Memorial service at 1:00 p.m. with visitation from 12:00 noon until time of service. If desired, memorial donations to the Belleville Y.M.C.A. would be appreciated. Following the Memorial service a reception will follow at the Steele Family Centre for a time of fellowship.
