Eileen Patricia Lejeune
1928 – 2017
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eileen Patricia Lejeune (nee Currie) at
the age of 89, peacefully on the morning of November 26, surrounded by her loving family. She
was predeceased by her parents Frank and Edith Currie, and her beloved husband Rene Charles.
She leaves behind her cherished daughters, Patricia and Peggie, their spouses Greg and Brian,
her 5 grandchildren, Christa (Frank), Patrick (Jeanne), Jason (Sasha), Chris (Jackie) and Graham
(Andrea), and 6 great grandchildren.
Pat was born and raised in Montreal, and after marrying Rene shortly after the war years in 1947,
raised her family on St. Louis Ave. in Dorval. It was a wonderful close knit neighbourhood with
a circle of friends spanning more than 60 years. She was actively involved in the Strathmore
United Church for many years and was a proud life time member of the United Church Women’s
Organization. She was a kind and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.
We are all blessed to have had her in our lives and she will be sorely missed. Pat’s life will be
celebrated on December 1 at Dorval Strathmore United Church, 310 Brookhaven Ave., Dorval.
There will be a visitation at 1 PM followed by a memorial service at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers,
please consider a donation to Dorval Strathmore United Church or West Island Palliative Care
Residence where Pat was treated with such kindness and dignity.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Mme Eileen Patricia Lejeune 1928
