RODGERS, Mel…passed away with his family by his side at his home on Sunday, November 19th, 2017 in his 91st year. Loving husband of the late Phyllis Rodgers for over 65 years. Cherished father of Glen (Elaine), Debbie (Gerry) Jowett, Wendy Mahoney and Brian. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Shannon (John) Martin, Angela (Andrew), Tracey and Derek Rodgers, Christine (Kevin), Andy (Mandy) and Bill Jowett, Scott (Leslie), Michael (Jackie) and Jamie Mahoney, Jeremy (Carolyn) Quinn, Tyler Mahoney… Read More » and Terri (Luc) Hamel and his 17 great grandchildren. Brother-in-law of Rita Rodgers, and June Goacher. Predeceased by his siblings Vera Quackenbush, Stanley, Edward, Bruce, Harold, Amos, and Percy. Special father and grandfather to Tom, Fran, Tommy, David, Matthew and Tim Ostertag and their families. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held from the Weaver Life Centre – Campbellford on Wednesday, November 22nd, 2017 at 2p.m. with visitation two hours prior from 12noon till 2p.m. Interment Mt Pleasant Cemetery.
