Mickey Meraw May 24, 1943 – May 2, 2017

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of a husband, father and grandpa. Mickey was all of those things and will be missed by his wife of almost 50 years, Eilene, son Patrick (Kyoko), daughter Michaela (Kouhei) and grandchildren Taylor, Emery and Nate. He enjoyed everything he did, and he was active in a great number of organizations and sports. In particular, he enjoyed curling at the Calgary Winter Club, Calgary Curling Club and the North Hill Curling Club. Every victory was a struggle, and every game produced new friends. He enjoyed over twenty years with the Calgary 55 + Hockey Association. What a pleasure to play…
