1951-2017
Mike LeBlanc of Shediac Bridge passed away at The Saint John
Regional Hospital on Saturday, September 9, 2017. Born in Moncton he
was the son of the late Edmour J. and Margaret E. (Shannon)
LeBlanc.
He had retired from the Correctional Service of Canada follow
a career of over 35 years service as a correctional officer at the
Dorchester Penitentiary and most recently at The Moncton Hospital.
Mike had a passion for fishing both here at home and while spending
his winters in Arizona. He will be dearly missed by his family and
extended family of shuffleboard friends that he made over the
years.
He is survived by his step-son, Robert Joseph (BJ) Breen
(Korey) of Moncton; sister, Marlene Doncaster (Brian) of Upper
Sackville; brother, Brian (Vicki) of Riverview, his cherished
grandchildren; Brendan, Mitchel and Olivia (Breen); nieces and
nephews, Garrett, Brenna, Naomi, Chris, Mark and Jeff.
The family invites relatives and friends to Cobb’s
Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview
(869-2007) on Thursday evening from 6-8 PM for a time to share and
celebrate Mike’s life. Donations to the memorial of the
donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Online
