It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Joseph Toth on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the age of 80 years. Mike was predeceased by his parents Michael and Ethel Toth, brother Alfred, and infant sister Deanna. He is survived by his loving family: wife Shirley, son Randy (Darla), daughter Michael-Ann Lott (Randy); grandchildren Cory (Christina), Curtis (Jamie), Christopher (Shanty), Cydney (Tyler), Kirsten, Griffin (Kayla); great-grandchildren Morgan, Owen, Addison, Everett, and Ari. He is also survived by his sisters Linda Stevens and Gail Brown (Gord) as well as many nieces and nephews.
Mike was born on March 19, 1937 in Minton District, Saskatchewan. For the most part, Mike grew up in Regina where he met Shirley at Balfour Collegiate. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on August 3rd of this year.
Mike was a member of the Regina Real Estate community for over 40 years. He loved to golf and did so until his health deteriorated when he was 79. He is known to his family as a handyman as he built his own lake house and enjoyed fixing things around the house. He also had an interest in photography and cameras.
Funeral Service will be held at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 2015 – 4th Avenue North, Regina, Saskatchewan on Friday, October 27, 2017 at 1:00 PM. A family interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
