Melvin Curlew, age 69, passed
away on January 1, 2017 at the Labrador-Grenfell Health Centre in
Happy Valley-Goose Bay. Leaving to mourn, his
common-law wife, Justine Perkins; children, Brenda, Bonnie (Nick
Quinn) and Beverly (Ed Compton); brothers Rod, Freeman, Albert and
Don; sisters, Lucy, Jean and Bernetta as well as a large circle of
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was
predeceased by his parents Albert and Caroline Curlew and his brother,
Wilfred. Visitation is scheduled for
Wednesday, January 4, 2016 from 2-4 pm and 7-9
pm. Funeral service will be held
on January 5, 2016 from Bethel Pentecostal Tabernacle, Pastor Wayne
Noble officiating. Interment will follow at the
Pentecostal Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy,
donations to the family would be graciously
accepted.
