Obituary of Melva Jackson
Jackson: Melva, formerly of R.R. 3 Tupperville passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Fairfield Park Nursing Home, Wallaceburg at the age of 95. Born in Chatham, daughter of the late Arlington and Bessie (Chinnick) Arnold. Melva was a member of Zion United Church, Tupperville and a Life Member of Zion UCW. Beloved wife of the late Hugh Jackson (2010). Loving mother of Donna & Cleo Perry of Wallaceburg and Bill & Elinore Jackson of Newbury. Cherished grandma of Joe & Mari Joy Perry, Raewyn Jackson & Jim Catney and Alison & Jonny Paget. Proud great grandma of Allen and Lauren Perry and Sadie and Emmerson Paget. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Robert & Lois Arnold; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Kate & Lorne Johnston, Herb & Jean Jackson, John & Doris Jackson and Elsie & Don Mills. The Jackson family will receive friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 679 North St., Dresden on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 11 a.m. Interment in Dresden Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the Zion United Church, Tupperville or Fairfield Park Memorial Garden, Wallaceburg. Online donations and condolences may be left at www.badderfuneralhome.com.
