Obituary for Melissa Blais

1983-2017
It is with great sadness that the family announces Melissa’s passing at the Timmins & District Hospital on Friday, December 8, 2017 at the age of 34 years. Loving partner and best friend Eric Gauthier. Cherished mother of Hailey Jade Blais-Gravel, Drake Blais-Gravel and Aubrey Blais-Gauthier all of Timmins. She is survived by the father of Hailey Jade and Drake; Reg Gravel of Timmins. Beloved daughter of Sue Blais and John Jetté both of Timmins. Dear sister of Jamie Blais of Timmins. Granddaughter of Pat Blais and Leo Rozon. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by her grandmother Anne Jetté and grandfather Ernest Blais.
The family would like to thank everyone who supported them in this difficult journey. Your kindness will never be forgotten. Also to the nursing staff at the Timmins and District Hospital – ICU Department and Dr. Barboza for excellent care and compassion.
Memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm, on Friday, December 15, 2017 at the Miron-Wilson Funeral Chapel (Pastor Kevin Furtney officiating). Remembrance donations to a Timmins Food Bank would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends from 12-2:45 pm on Friday, December 15, 2017 at the
