It is with heavy hearts we say goodbye to a very special lady. Melanie Bimm passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke, Ontario. She just turned 95! She was born in Augsburg, Ontario. Melanie was married to Willard H. Bimm in 1943.
Loving Mother of Murray (Darlene), Jean Reinke (Earl), Kathy Knuth (late Roy), Ron (Jean), and Paul (Lyne). Loving grandmother of Mark Bimm (Dawn), Valerie Gannon (Grant), Robin Reinke (Jenn) Colin Reinke (Tanya), Krista Knuth, Ryan Knuth (Dawn), Kelly Bimm-Gaines (Steve), Christopher Bimm (Jithmi), Sean Bimm, Tyler Bimm and Mattea Bimm. She will be dearly missed by her 12 great-grandchildren Jonathan Bimm, Melissa Bimm, Jacob and Noah Gannon, Kaden and Savannah Reinke, Jacob and Addison Reinke, Norah and Theo Knuth, Josh and Avery Gaines and 1 great-great-granddaughter Emma St. Jean.
Melanie was predeceased by her parents, Ida and Emil Sell, husband, Willard, sons Bruce & Robert, also brothers, Ellard Sell (Theresa), Harvey Sell (Renata), Wilbert Quast (Edna) and sisters, Emgard Schultz (Wilfred) and Shirley Sadler (Cyri). Visitation will be held at Zohr Funeral Home, Eganville, on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9pm and again on Tuesday morning after 9:30. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, Eganville, Ontario. Interment Grace Lutheran Cemetery. In memory of Melanie, Donations made to Grace Lutheran Church or Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke would be greatly appreciated by her family.
